I had an accident on 02/07/2017, 09:15 am ( case number B17-02029 )on highway I-93 in windham, nh. I was driving alone to South. Then, because of ice and snow car lost control, spun, hit back and front and passenger side.I stop after 180 degree turn. No one involved. Damages were front back and passenger side and some of interior. Front bumper was fall off. My car was towed by aaa who was called by the police. My passenger side airbags both window and door were dropped, but non of them had air at all. Just empty bags were dragged. Then I checked the air bag status about my car. My car was eligible for recall on Dec/20/16 as I see online, but Honda dealer never gave us a notice about the recall. My husband purchased the car 07 as a new at Honda dealer in salem nh.

Hi we bought this car 3 years ago and we took it for inspection maybe 10 months ago. We were told my the Honda dealer inspectors that the car didn't need to fix any thing, and that if the car need it any repairs the car did not qualify for it. Since the car had more than 100,000 miles. But on December 16,2016 my son was driving under the rain and as he was switching lanes to exist the freeway his car lost control hit a ramp in the freeway got a damage on the rear bumper, but the most scary part is that the air bags did not deployed at the time of the impact. Instead only the driver size came out did nothing to support his head because the bags did not deflate at the time of the impact. The other defect was that his seat which was the driver sit was ripped from the side and again the air bad didn't deflated. The damage on our vehicle was so severe from the inside that the insurance has declared this car as a total lost.

Takata recall. I received a notice in the mail from Honda informing me of the recall of the passenger airbag recall of my Honda Civic hybrid 2007 but that a new part was not available yet. Several months have gone by and I have not been informed of the new part being available yet by Honda. I called the bay ridge Honda dealership and they said that they would order the part but would not give me a date of when they will receive it. I do not feel safe driving my own car. I feel like my car could harm anyone if I was involved in an accidents. I want the airbag to be replaced asap.
