Crosstour EX-L 3.2L V6

Our Navigation unit has gone blank a few times but the worse was on a trip to Southern California. We were 45 minutes +/- from our destination with our hotel information programmed into the GPS when the screen went blank with no sound either. We pulled into a mini-mart turned the car on and off with success getting the unit working again. We eventually found the hotel and the next morning as I was taking it to a local Honda dealer the screen was working again. The dealer took a cursory look and said they couldn't see anything and the unit was working. I'm assuming that there is either a loose wire leading to the unit or a bad wire weld inside the unit. Since the problem is intermittent Honda is refusing to fix or replace the unit even though the car and accessories are under warranty.
