The contact owns a 2003 Honda Element. The contact stated that the check engine warning light was illuminated. The dealer was advised of the failure and informed the contact that there was a gasoline fuel leak and that the fuel tank would need to be replaced. The contact did not inform the manufacturer of the failure nor was the vehicle repaired. The current mileage was 88,362. The failure mileage was approximately 88,000.
