Element EX

  • Automatic transmission
  • 3,418 miles

The trim fell off- reattached with clips available and tied it to the car to drive to the dealership (375 km away). Talked to service manager and Honda Canada without success. I looked at other Elements (older) and realized that the trim board on the 2009 is much wider than older models. When putting children in the vehicle - or anyone who is shorter, would need to step at least partially on this plastic trim. It is not fair - it is either a design flaw or not attached securely enough.

Element 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission

The driver's side 'running board'/plastic trim under the doors snapped apart when my son was exiting the vehicle. The next day, it began dragging on the road while driving.
