The contact owns a 2019 Honda Fit. The contact stated that after refueling the vehicle, there was an abnormally strong gasoline odor coming from the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. The mechanic was unable to determine the cause of the failure. The contact stated that the vehicle had been taken to the dealer to be repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V215000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) and the failure started after the recall repair was performed. The manufacturer was contacted but the contact had not received a call back. The failure mileage was 10,649.
