My new Honda Insight with less than 5000 km has developed an annoying dashboard creaking, crackling sound which is making absolutely nuts.
This car has a problem with a crackling sound of about 2200 rpm and above or with a cold start.
It's coming from the middle of the dashboard. It started when the car was 4 months old. I also have the noise coming from the back when passing over a speed bump or cold start. It started at about 25000 km mark when the car was 9 months old. I just can't believe it. Now 11 months old car that is still under warranty has the issues. It's so ugly. The cabin cracking noise is so bad that I don't even want to drive this car anymore.
Never will I buy another vehicle from this company!
