I can't open the rear passenger side door on my '03 Odyssey - with or without the remote opener or pulling on the handle - inside or outside. Strange thing occurs after the car cools down (it's been a hot summer) - then everything works like it should. Let it heat up and the thing goes into "no go" mode! The other rear door hasn't been affected - yet. Dealer says he's never heard of such a problem and I can't imagine how much it will cost to fix. Anyone have an easy fix??
Update from Sep 28, 2010: Turns out the problem had nothing to do with temperature - or electrical - it was that the roller assembly was shot. Had the dealer repair and all was well. Exactly 2 days later I had problems closing the driver's side rear door - made a very loud metallic sound and it turns out the roller assmebly on that side had gone as well! I bought the part for about $80 and got some coaching from a tech at the dealer and did the job myself. Involved taking off the interior panel, rear light and the small body panel that covers the door track. The door has to be supported by something or someone - suggest someone since it is only attached to the vehicle by the roller assembly and the bottom support - the upper guide will pop out of the track if given the opportunity.

Rear doors stick and sometimes one of our kids has to climb over the font seats and kick the door open whilst someone pulls for all they are worth as the open button is pushed. The longer it's left between openings the more likely it is to stick.
