Odyssey LX V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 37,000 miles

Service advisor said "Honda's don't do that" Team leader stated he test drove van and could not duplicate problem. Went to my regular repair shop and they replaced the front pads and cured problem.

Odyssey EX-L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 7,500 miles

Noise started after having first service done (at 7500 miles). Dealer stated Honda was using a new brake pad and that was the problem. Just keeps servicing the brakes like normal, and noise stays there. Usually sounds like it is coming from the right rear brake.

Odyssey EX With RES 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 21,000 miles

The brake was making noise from the day I bought the car when I am at low speed. After the car heats up and I am in high speed, don't see the problem. Did not bother initially, probably for beiing lazy. Then at 21000 miles, decided to show the dealer. They replaced it without charging me a penny. Nice job Lute Rieley. Their repair customer service is becoming outstanding.

Odyssey Touring 3.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 34,800 miles

Noise (howling) started at about 30,000 miles. Took to dealer along with TSB number I found on Car Complaints (TSB #08012005 -- GRINDING OR GROWLING WHEN BRAKING AT LOW SPEEDS). They turned the front rotors and put on new pads. Also, replaced rear rotors and put on new pads. The problem is now repaired. The dealer did a good job and provided a loner car for the weekend until the parts came in.
