The air bag warning light stays on. The van was purchased new in November 2004 and has never been in an accident. Given that the airbags have been manufactured for over 20 years they should not fail or indicated failure after 2.5 years.

Odyssey 4WD 8-cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 4,000 miles
The contact stated the air bag sensor light stayed on. She received a NHTSA recall 05V344000 concerning the air bag sensor. The dealership replaced the air bag sensor, but the light was still on. Updated 12/11/2005. A hole in the under side of the bumper allowed small rocks and peddles in the bumper. The weather stripping on the rear doors is pulling away and bending outward.
