problem #1

Dec 232009

Odyssey EX 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 42,000 miles

The Odyessy would shudder some when driving, especially when it got up to normal interstate driving speed. Had it to dealer, but no indication of problem or solution. Then, driving on interstate it began shuddering some and next I knew the right front axle splines, both male and female, failed. Required dealer to get new front axle. Fortunate to be under warranty yet. But, now the van doesn't shudder at interstate speed, but note that it shakes some when accelerating from stop light at about 30 MPH. Almost like it hits a bad bump, shakes the wheel, and then comes out of it. Also, note that without changing the accelerator, the car will decelerate and then accelerate back. Wondering if I've got additional problems!
