problem #1

Odyssey ES V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 70,000 miles

Since we bought the vehicle I noticed the head lights dimming down and coming back up as we drive the vehicle, I told my wife about it and a friend told me that it was the alternator, so we get the alternator check, and as I took it to the dealership to get checked for the AC and other little things. they said that we need it to change the timing belt and the regular belt becasue the alternator works good and it seems to be that problem, its going to cost me 900 to get this done in a vehicle which it never has happened with other vehicles that I owned. We bought it because "its dependable" but they told me that we need to change timing belt every 100,000 miles... This is HONDA DEPENDABILITY... They need to be responsible for their vehicle... BTW they also tried to tell me that I need to change the steering pump.... $600.00 I guess they have repo this one because is a pain to have to deal with all this issued that when is a manufactured problems..
