Odyssey EXL

  • Automatic transmission
  • 100,000 miles

I had the misfortune of riding in our 2008 Odyssey from Houston to DisneyWorld in Florida. I had neck and back pain the entire trip, and throughout our entire vacation. During the year or so we owned the vehicle, I had frequent violent headaches. It took several months before I realized the stupid van was causing all my problems. I was able to alleviate some of the problem with a dollar store back support, but we eventually had to sell the van because it was just too much to deal with.

Go back to the old headrests, please! I refuse to ever buy another newer Honda until the problem is fixed. Head "restraints" CAUSE more problems than they fix! I can't wait until someone can finally put a lawsuit together to sue Honda for all the neck and back problems their stupid head restraints are causing!!!

The headrests pitch your head forward. I've been having bad neckpain and I now realize it's because of these awful headrests. I've tried reversing them, and switching with back seat ones (don't fit). Very annoying.
