Liftgate struts failed suddenly. Car only had 42,000 miles (6.5 years). Honda apparently had recall on 2008 and 2009 Odyssey for this problem. Called Honda, they refused to do anything. Had to buy new struts. Buy on the internet, do not buy at the dealer - they want ~$100 each.
Such parts should last longer. Poor quality or durability component.
