Odyssey EX-L V6

  • Automatic transmission

Quite frequently there is a bad low rpm hesitation that occurs when accelerating from low speed to higher speeds. I am told by Honda this is normal when transitioning out of the ECO mode into a higher rpm. The hesitation, is at times is very drastic. Its as if there is a total power shut down. Can this hesitation be minimized or eliminated??

Update from Jun 7, 2018: Replaced external control module under factory warranty & updated trans. code. Fixed shift clunk & hesitation problem seems to be much better.
