I thought I was just going to need to recharge the AC system. Turns out the compressor reeds are bad. Also, have to replace the condenser, expansion valves, and the refrigerant is $12 an ounce! My car is only 5 years old with 90,000 miles. Warranty expired at 80,000! Of course it did.

Well, it's the beginning of summer and even if I can afford the $3000 repair, NO ONE CAN GET THE PARTS AS THEY ARE ALL ON BACKORDER! Not even the Honda dealership has them.

I did call the dealership and asked if a recall comes up on the AC system if I would get reimbursed for the repair, even if Honda didn't do the service, and the answer was "YES".

I love my car, but hate all the issues and recalls I have to deal with.
