The emissions light comes on and a code reader reports an error suggesting that the catalytic needs to be replaced. Checking online, there's an extended warranty coverage for the issue from Honda. Apparently faulty/failing fuel injectors cause the emissions computer to think that there's a problem.

The only problem is that the injectors are currently (mid-2023) on back order and people are saying that it is 2-weeks to 2-months out. In the meantime they've advised me not to drive out of town.

Of course there's no compensation or loan vehicles available, and we had to cancel a vacation because there is currently no ETA on when my parts will be in (it's been two weeks now, and no clues).
