Pilot LX 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 45,000 miles

I bought the vehicle used at around 45,000 miles and at first I thought it was just me getting used to the new vehicle. Over time though I realized it was fairly consistent, especially decelerating down around 2nd gear.

I looked online and others had reported the same issue in slightly different years and that a warranty had covered it. I took it in to my dealer and they claimed that it wasn't a warranty item and did a "reprogramming" and flushed the transmission. The transmission is now much smoother.

Pilot Touring V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 15,537 miles

When I accelerate from stop, the transmission jerks from 1st to 2nd. I took it to the dealer (Flow Honda) and they said they noticed the jerk, but refused to fix it as no codes were stored. They also checked automatic transmission fluid level. They said its normal to like models at this time and asked me to bring it back if any lights come up.
