Takata recall. I have been driving this vehicle around with my wife and small children unaware of the possible harm that could come to them from the "exploding" airbags. We just received our truck back with the fixed driver's side airbag after having a rental for 3 months since Honda did not have replacement parts yet. We just received another recall for the "exploding" passenger side airbag which they also do not have parts for. We have been unable to use our truck for fear that the airbags could hurt our small children or other passengers. We have contacted the dealership and the #S provided on the recall but have been unable to get any response for about 4 days. We are concerned that Honda should have known the passenger airbag was defective as well before they gave our vehicle back to us supposedly "fixed." We are also concerned that our side curtain airbags have the same defects and even if we get our passenger airbag fixed there will be yet another recall for the side airbags.

Takata recall yesterday 2/05/16 I contacted american Honda motor Inc and was given a claim number 04437864 to begin the process of obtaining a rental to use until the parts are available for the recall. A VIN search included my vehicle at the time and was verified. I was assigned to lisa (case manager) who left a voicemail yesterday afternoon. After 3 failed attempts to reach her I attempted to move forward on my own in picking up a rental and dropping if my truck at the local dealer rick woodson Honda. I am not able to do anything as lisa is only available M-F and now all of a sudden when I enter my VIN it reflects that there is not a recall on my vehicle. Is this an attempt at a cover up or did I do something wrong" I am afraid for my safety and that of my family driving a vehicle with an airbag that cause fatal injury. What do I do now" -[xxx] no review of carfax available 'information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).'
