Ridgeline Touring 3.5L

While driving in a snow storm with wet snow, wipers decide to stop. Went to dealer, they said that they were probably frozen, but this happened a second time. I parked the truck, had coffee, wipers reset themselves again, this is very annoying. What is going on here?
