I bought this car brand new in 2006. I custom ordered it from the factory with the intention of keeping it indefinitely. I noticed a few years back that there was water leaking from OnStar microphone able the drivers side. I did some research and found multiple complaints online about the same problem and some suggested fixes. I attempted to fix the problem myself to no resolve.

After doing more research I found another suggestion for a fix which consisted of removing the passenger rear tire and opening a weep hole tube located behind the plastic wheel well. I performed the suggested fix and the problem seemed to go away. This season I have noticed a puddle in the driver side rear floor board. It is literally about 1/2 inch of water sitting on the floor. I currently play a towel on the floor to absorb the water daily and replace it once home. I recently let my youngest daughter use it for school as we live in a rural area with excessive rock slides and harsh road conditions as it is the safest car I own.

I am extremely upset and disappointed that I need to continue to deal with this issue and am hoping that this gets recalled before GM no longer offers assistance with this vehicle as they have discontinued the Hummer H# Line of production. Please, Please, Please assist as I do love the vehicle less the problems. I have already had the Head worked on due to an issue with the head after at around 150,000 miles. The car currently has 250000 miles and I plan on keeping the vehicle as I enjoy owning it less the water issue.

Thanks in Advance and I eagerly wait for a reply or some options for assistance.

I bought what I thought was my dream car in May 2015. The first rainy day it had standing water in the back floor board, water coming out of the back speakers, water coming from the onstar speaker above my head, water coming out at my left foot on the drivers side, water under the back seats, when you pulled out the seat belts they were wet. They replaced the drain hoses and blew out all the drain holes. Problem fixed...for a while! Now I have water at the base of the drivers seat on the back seat floor board. Drivers seat only. They have ran water over the entire car for hours and can not get it to leak. But it rains at my house and it leaks. Not sure what or how this can be fixed at this point. I guess when you consider all the other problems I'm having with my DREAM car, the leak is minor.

I have seen several other complains about water leakage on the passenger side wheel well. Mine is severe. Any time it rains or snows or even goes through a car wash there is enough water on the floor to splash around in. I have to pull out the mats and dry it for days and it leaves a nasty smell in the car which literally makes you ill. I know the metal under the carpet must be rusting away each time this happens. I have complained about this issue and many others but I get the run around at the dealer and a huge estimate on what it would cost to fix the problem. So tired of dealing with this poorly assembled "fake" Hummer

Water is pouring in from the ceiling, sunroof, and near emergency brake. Can't believe that a car that was so expensive has such a ridiculous problem that GM won't fix. I have seen a lot of other people on here have the same issue. Why wouldn't it be a recall issue?! Maybe if we filed a class action lawsuit they would think about fixing it! It is already starting to smell like mold in my car. Carpet is ruined and the electrical was acting crazy this morning. GM needs to get their head out of their butt and start addressing peoples problems before there are more issues then just water on the floor. I would hate to be driving with my children and my car start on fire due to an electrical shortage from the water pouring in!
