The contact owns a 2008 Hummer H3. While stopped, both front side air bags deployed; the driver was injured as a result. The vehicle was taken to a local repair shop but the failure could not be diagnosed. The air bags were repaired. The failure mileage was 28,329 and the current mileage was approximately 30,000.

I own a 2008 Hummer H3 alpha. Yesterday, 9-18-2010 the side curtain airbags deployed for no reason. I have a bruise on the side of my face, a cut on my neck, and my ear is still ringing. There are several reports of this happening on Hummer H3's posted on the internet, and from what I'm reading, GM is not replacing the airbags.
