Accent 4-cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 63,000 miles
- the contact owns a 2000 Hyundai Accent. The contact stated that the license plate holder on the vehicle had a design defect. The screws that held the bolts in place were located on the inside of the bumper which was inaccessible without taking the bumper off. The screws eventually rusted, and when they needed to be removed they broke off in the hole, which made it necessary for a mechanic to repair at a cost upwards of $100. The current and failure mileage were both 63,000. Update 5/3/07
