problem #2

Apr 012019

Accent ES 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 125,000 miles

The water pump literally blew out with 101,437 miles on it and was not covered under warranty. I had the dealership replace the water pump for over a grand! Now the temperature gauge goes up high when I put on the air conditioner and I am in traffic. This is my 12th new Hyundai and I typically have had no problems with my other ones. Personally, I think its a defective water pump causing the problem and they probably put the same manufacturers water pump back in the car when it went down. So, I imagine the pump will blow out again in the near future.

Accent 1.3L 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 55,000 miles

The car is using coolant and they can't find where its going. I have to refill the reservoir from below empty every oil change. The dealer said they can't find any leaks and that it isn't burning it. The told me that I had over filled it and that somehow made it go below the minimum mark. If you don't know what it is just say so, don't pull some lame excuse on me.
