Azera Limited 3.8L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 126,245 miles

I bought this car used in early July 2018. Just over a month later after the 30 day warranty ran out, the red idiot air bag light came on. From what I understand this is common with Hyundai. The yellow passenger air bag light that goes on when the passenger is not sitting in the seat comes on when the seat belt is pulled and the passenger is sitting in the seat not suppose to happen. I see the Sonata warranty was extended for the same problem, so I believe the Azera should be granted also for the passenger seat pretensioner buckle.

Azera Limited V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 76,000 miles

Had a minor recall fixed for brakes and also asked dealer about air bag light that stays on and they said $130 to do diagnosis and then cost goes up from there. (Looking at similar complaints cost estimate is $1000 to 3000.) Good car as original owner and 76k miles but also a problem with shade in rear window sticking and making noise when trying to retract when in reverse. I'm more worried about the air bag light.
