I turned on my car after work only to have it stall. When I turned it on again, a metal-on-metal clicking noise started happening and would go faster whenever I would step on the gas. I took it to my mechanic the next week (I was hoping it would miraculously cure itself) and he told me to take it to Hyundai because if it was what he thought it was, the engine would need to be replaced. Low and behold, that's exactly what had to happen. Luckily, it was still under warranty, but they had my car for over a week and I left the lot with a brand new engine. Not very impressed considering my car is only three years old and I've taken good care of it, as it was a lease for most of that time.

Car stalled in a tunnel twice during rush hour. When started back up it was making a loud clanging noise. Immediately took it to the dealer who could not find anything wrong. Returned the next day because it was still clanging loudly. First call from dealer was nothing wrong then 2nd call from dealer was car needs a new engine.!

At the dealer for 2 weeks and I had to pay for first few days of rental car because the dealer screwed up and did not call Enterprise to take over payment.
