Elantra GLS Touring 2.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 21,748 miles

I cannot believe it, almost one major repair per year for a brand new car. (Knock on wood) this is the third year, hopefully no major repair. No wonder people buy Honda or Toyota.I used to have Nissan, good brand. Japanese cars are way ahead of Korean's cars

This happened today. I was driving up a hill and then went on a bridge. The transmission didn't want to shift and was whining over 2000 RPMs. Almost sounded like power steering, but I eliminated that as the cause. As for on lt having this car for 11 months, I don't know what or why something would go wrong so fast. Just leasing at the moment, but probably won't purchase later.
