Elantra GT 4DR 1.8L

My wife, who is the primary person that drives our 2015 Hyundai Elantra GT asked if I would look into the cost of replacing the brakes? Well of course being the man that I am, I told her that I would take care of it. While doing some research for a replacement front disc brake pads I decided to search for the cost of wheel hub assemblies. I had previous experience with bad wheel hubs on a 2003 Chevy Impala.

I discovered that typically the 2015 Hyundai Elantra GT had no reports of faulty wheel hubs. The front wheel noise became very noticeable in the latter part of August in 2017. Since we has only purchased this vehicle in May of 2016. I thought it a bit strange that we would be having any major issues with a car that had just a little over 25,000 miles. We hadn't taken any long road trips or travel on gravel roads. Just locally driving in our area. Now driving is kind of irritating because the noise level has gotten louder and louder.

I told my wife that I will attempt to take it back to the dealership to have take a look at it, because I believe this is a manufacture problem. I've driven cars/SUV's with over 100,000 miles and didn't experience the noise level that we are experiencing in this low mileage, practically new vehicle. I just pray that they (Hyundai dealership) repair this under the warranty. I will upate this post after speaking with the dealership. If anyone has had similar issues. I would appreciate any feedback or resolve.
