No pick up, dragging at 130,000 miles (catalytic converter ). The car started having difficulty maintaining cruise control. Once I thought it was because of the rain, but it wasn't. Shortly afterwards I could not set it on cruise control. The car would not drive as it once did. It started dragging(sluggish). There was no acceleration until I got it up to about 40 mph. I noticed the gear would shift down a little. A diagnostic revealed the converter was worn. This issue started at around 128,000 but I kept wondering why the gear shift was in the wrong position. I had the converter replaced at $2300, but now the car has no pickup once again. It's like a slow drag and without one light of caution on the panel. Again, no acceleration. What is wrong and here we go again? What is going on? I don't have another $2300.00 like that.

I spent about over $2000 driving another vehicle so I would have something to drive. Now here we go again for the car is not accelerating at all. Why is this not covered? I am 2 hours (rural town) from a Hyundai dealer in the city. Does anyone care? Is this another converter after driving for two months (approximately1800 miles since then)?
