Genesis

For the past four years, one day each year usually in August or September, the car will fail to start. After renewing my AAA membership and calling for service, the car will start with no problems. Have replaced battery twice and had car checked by Hyundai Dealership several times with no resolution. It will operate fine for another year and then the problem returns.

I had earlier reported blinking interior lights to dealership and they said that was normal. The latest episode included the alarm system going off three times while trying to start car. Took to local garage and they recommended taking to dealership 30 miles away. Called tow truck and car started again several times with no problem. Cancelled tow truck. Car started again this morning with only problem being that the button on the drivers side door would not work. The locks did open when I used the automatic key to unlock the doors. Would like to know if anyone else has had this problem or has an idea of what it might be. Had noticed the day before the failure that the remote key in my purse was not working until I turned my purse and held it close to the door.
