The contact owns a 2012 Hyundai Genesis. While the contact was attempting to place the vehicle in drive and release the parking brake, the vehicle made a loud abnormal noise. The vehicle was towed to sport durst Hyundai (4507 durham-chapel hill blvd, durham, nc 27707 (919) 251-5996) where the contact was informed that the motor for the electronic parking brake needed to be replaced and the brakes were faulty. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 129,000.
