I send this letter to complaint against the agent of Hyundai motors in Oman OTE.
I'm Ahmed I have Genesis car model 2014 vin KMHGC41K2EU250803 . My car had many damages and OTE failed to solved and repaired it. First of all, the appearance of fuel smile fourth times and every time they changed the fuel filter. Until now they failed to explain why the problem happened to many times. They just keep telling me when it occurs, come to us and we will change the fuel filter. Also, the air noise inside the car is too annoying. They changed the window rubber but the noise is still in the car. There is shaking in steering wheel and the car sways to the right. The workshop failed to fixed the problem and they said that problem is because of the tires, even though I changed the tires, the problem still there.
The biggest disaster, the AC system gives hot air 17.5 degree and above. I COMPLAINED 8 times to the workshop during one year and nine month. They keep tilling me if the problem occurred again come to the workshop and we will try to fix it.
The Genesis has AAA service and your customers should have an standby car during the service. For 115 days the OTE didn't give me that the standby car. Also too many Genesis owners are not given a standby car during the service, we collect the sign of the Genesis owner whose not given it and I will send it to you.
I'm tiered from them, and COMPLAINTS against them and the public prosecution Asked an expert to investigate and check the car and write a report .
THIS is Summary of the expert report and I will try to translate it as best I can.
Summary:
After reading the entrance and exciting of the car from the OTE workshop and after we tested the car with the car owner and OTE technical, we found that:
The damages start since 15880 km , when the discharge of fuel tank was changed in 23/06/2014, and the same damage happened again in 7/09/2014 when the car reached 22230 km, also again in 24/05/2015 and again in 03/08/2016 when the car reach 106016.
They Reprogrammed the electronic system of the car in 18/01/2015, after the car reach 40737 km.
All these damages was existing from beginning in car, and it's repeated for the same reasons, and for that reasons the workshop was forced to reprogrammed the car again. However the car still have the same damage.
Also for the air conditioning system the workshop failed to solved the damaged , until 27/01/2017 the air conditioning system not fixed and the workshop try to changed the AC gas many times but without benefit.
During the checkup the car a hot air come from the AC , that the service manager recognized this problem after testing long time.
Also there is shaking in steering wheel and the car swab to the right , the workshop didn't fixed the problem because they said that problem because of the tires .Although the owner changed the tires, the problem still there.
For that we confirm:
1- The AC not working efficiently, a hot air come out, although the workshop tried many times to fixed it but they're failed.
2- There are shaking in steering wheel and the car swab to the right although the tires are changed.
3- These maintained damages consider to be inherited in this vehicle, and the OTE failed to solved and fixed.
