Radio will not hold XM stations. Brought the car into dealer on May 4, 2016. Was told radio would need to be replaced. After four weeks (and multiple phone calls) was told that Hyndai would not replace radio, but wanted it sent out for repair, which would take another 2-3 weeks (perhaps-no way to know for sure). Hyundai rep has yet to call me back to answer my question as to why it has to take 7-8 WEEKS to fix a radio on a so-called premium car.

When I first lost the signal I called Sirius. They kept sending me a refresh signal. It held until I shut off the engine. Then I took it to Faulkner Hyundai in Philadelphia. They kept my car for four day. They were able to replicate the problem, but couldn't solve it Sirius told Faulkner to replace the radio because they felt there was a satellite receiver defect. I can't begin to tell you how many times I called Hyundai Corporate. I thought that if I bought a plug -in sallies radio, that it would prove the the car was getting a signal. Faulkner said that "it didn't mean anything". Now, I am waiting to hear from someone to make a decision about replacing the radio.

Thank you for this forum.

XM radio won't work unless I call in to re-set it every time I start the car. The problem started in May. (I purchased the car from the dealership in January with only 5,000 miles). A few weeks ago I finally had time to bring it to the dealership, but they were unable to find the source of the problem. So they called Hyundai corporate and were told that it's a software issue that is specific to the Genesis. Hyundai corporate was unable to estimate how soon the issue will be fixed.

Won't maintain my xm station after shutting off the car. It switches over to an am station. Must manually switch it back each time.

I leave the radio on an XM channel when I shut off the car in the garage at night.

In the morning the station has changed to XM 0 by itself. Very annoying. Dealer could not duplicate it in the dealer's garage.
