Santa Fe ES 2.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 50,000 miles

My car was damaged in a hit and run, the funds were able to be used to repaint the car. The clear coat chipping was very bad. All over the hood and roof. I replaced the paint without a clear coat.

paint is easily damaged

I brought my Santa Fe Hyundai 2005 brand new from the dealer in 2005. It is not a bad SUV, but the biggest problem I have is the bad paint workmanship. My problems started about three years ago. These Hyundai Santa Fe"s are peeling and fading all over Lancaster, Pa., I see them daily! It is deplorable and depressing! You get the run around from the dealer about the problem!! I feel at this time a class action lawsuit is necessary! The Hyundai Santa Fe Dealership has lost me as a customer! I have had many cars in my 73 years but nothing like this. Inside my SUV is clean but outside is sh*tty! Peace!

Santa Fe LX 3.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 1,250 miles

After a few weeks the paint started to scratch when you touched it same with dents then within a year or two it also had water marks and looked like an abused car. When I asked hyundai the mechanic admitted never buy dark colored Hyundai's as this is a common problem. Otherwise the truck runs great
