I'm the driver of the vehicle and drive alone for the most part. I purchased this vehicle because I am about to have a baby and was happy to know that it has rear ac. I was on a road trip with family and they mentioned it being hot in the back seat. The ac was set at 67 with medium fan blowing. They said it was hot, they couldn't feel the air blowing and it felt like 76 in the back. I switched from driver to rear passenger. This in fact was very true which raised concerns knowing I am going to have a baby back there with me in a few months.

I live in Houston, TX and the temperatures here rise to 100-105 degrees in the summer. I even went and got the vehicle windows tinted and it still doesn't help. I took the vehicle to the dealership and expressed my experience and concern. They had it for a whole day and said that it was normal and manufacturer made all the 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe's like this.

I resorted to call Hyundai Corporation and am now waiting a claims manager to contact me within the next week.

My advice: Ride in the back seat of your car while it's in motion not parked which I assume is how the service department checked it. Take it to the dealership and have them check it and called Hyundai Corp so they can get this fixed or change your car.
