blistering on door panel interior trim blistering on door panel interior trim blistering on door panel interior trim

The area was reported to the dealer in 2017 started as a discolored spot, by 2018, spot had developed into small pimples, my wife let it with the dealer dealer who had body shop clean and used heat gun to shrink down pimples. But within one year, pimples grew into blisters and now a second largest area is again surrounded by new discoloration and new pimples, area is now the size of a silver dollar, approaching 2" in diameter and still growing.

I reported this to the dealer again in June, 2020 before my warranty period was over.

He said they could not do anything since Hyundai factory rep denied warranty coverage.

I was advised to seek help from Hyundai consumer affairs, which I did in early August, sending two photos with the details of this issue. After waiting over two weeks, I was finally able to get a call from a customer service representative who parroted the denial from the Hyundai rep and actually said to my wife that this was an act of God and they would not cover it because the dealer did not report the problem when this vehicle was under warranty,

I am 100% certain this was a defect in manufacturing the door panel which Hyundai is refusing to acknowledge.

This is our third and final Hyundai, I will be replacing this car with another brand within the year.
