I am concerned about the length of time this recall is taking. My dealership made an appointment for March 15, 2023 and told me it is just to look at it and decide if they need to order the part. This does not sound safe. If something happens between now and then can I hold them responsible. I have made the effort. Can I go to a regular mechanic to have this fixed

I took my Hyundai to the dealer Anderson Hyundai in Anderson SC in March 2022 for an issue with all 3 of the brake warning lights coming on and was told that there was a recall. I was told that they took care of the issue. A week later all 3 lights came on again and the service manager informed me that that fix didn't work. I was also told that my car could catch fire and that I should receive another notice. When I received that 2nd recall notice I was then told that they could look at it but it would cost me to fix it. The issue is when I start the car the odometer spikes up to the 20 mile mark and then those 3 warning lights come on it isn't fixed. It has also displayed those warning lights while traveling on the road.

Last year 2021, I was notified of a recall: NHTSA # 22V056000. I scheduled the repair with a dealer in Florida on March 30, 2022. Upon arriving at the dealership I was told that parts are not available. The recall is to prevent the vehicle from catching on fire and we are advised NOT to park the vehicle in the house. On May 20, 2022, I scheduled the recall repair with the dealership where I purchased the vehicle: Bowser Hyundai, Pleasant Hills PA 15236 and was told that HYUNDAI does not have a "fix" for this problem. Should I continue to park the vehicle outside and for how long?

I was making a loop around under the freeway. It wasn't raining and the road was dry. It was daylight and I was not going fast. As I made the turn, the brakes and steering wheel both locked up. I couldn't turn the steering wheel or brake. I hit the median and narrowly missed hitting a pole. I do not feel comfortable or safe driving this vehicle.

The warning light saying that the emergency braking system is temporarily disabled keeps coming on and off multiple times a day and it disables the adaptive cruise control when I an driving in cruise control. It happens while vehicle is in motion in all kinds of circumstances and weather and have taken car to dealer 3 times without any solution. Have tried cleaning sensors multiple times. Dealer has seen it happening twice in a 10-15 minute test drive documenting it. Hyundai consumer assurance has not resolved the problem either. It has been happening since December 2018. It was not happening at all for the first 14-15 months of ownership. It happens at various speeds.

The 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe sport seat belts do not retract. They jammed in the doors and have ripped the rubbers on the doors and do not retract back when getting out of vehicle.. also in an emergency braking situation the seat belts do not lock up. Suspension is lousy and it feels as if it has no suspension. I was told by Hyundai's zone rep randy 1-800-633-5151 on September 26th 2017 three more complaints of this situation have been reported. My local Hyundai dealer feels for $250 a month this is as good as it gets and I should accept the vehicle with its faulty seat belts. Vehicle has been looked at at my local Hyundai dealer since September 18th 2017 and was notified in August of 2017....updated 11/09/17 updated 7/20/18
