Purchased new '17 SF Sport in 11/2016. I got a letter from Hyundai sometime later to go to dealer for software upgrade to engine control module... which was completed. In this instance flashing amber engine turned on and vehicle immediately 'lurched' & decelerated and, I'm told, went into 'limp' mode... and it did the same thing 5 weeks ago and dealer fixed it??? And now here we are again. Dealer says they [Hyundai] are very aware of this issue that it has something to do with 'knock sensor device' and requires new replacement of this and that, wiring harness and reset (?).

IMHO, it seems the software upgrade either did not solve the issue or created a greater one!!!!!!!

I bought this vehicle because of Hyundai's reputation & product dependability.

It seems my 'faith' was/is premature!
