I think Hyundai has a real potential issue here. Prior to 2005 a lot of their cars were made and assembled in Korea, and part way through 2005 they transitioned their production to the US. Consequently the cars made in Korea may not be designed for high salt areas, such as the North and North East. I just changed the brakes on my Sonata and the car is starting to look like a relic of the Titanic. Everything is rusting out pretty badly, way worse than I would expect for a 7 yr old car. I don't think Hyundai designed for high salt regions. A similar case occured with Subaru having to recall cars not designed for high salt regions a few years back.
