Sonata GLS 3.3L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 131,000 miles

Our Sonata is having engine problems again. Today the car won't even start and when it does the whole car rattles. We have not gotten it fixed. Really disappointed

Sonata LX 3.3L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 131,000 miles

This seems to be an issue with this year model, & its not necessarily a one time fix. The shop manual calls for 19 hours labor - I just happen to have a great mechanic that is also a friend! If its not fixed it will, at some point, damage the engine to the extent of requiring replacement.

Sonata GLS 3.3L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 48,500 miles

When first starting the car there is a rough clicking idle noise. Once driving though the noise subsides.
