Clear coat continues to peel off on the front bumper. Each time it is washed, it gets a little worse... Worst car I have ever owned... Don't buy a Hyundai...

Within 8 years the paint is peeling off. I think it is so early for your car color to be fading.

A FEW MONTHS AFTER BUYING THIS POS, I NOTICED THE CLEAR COAT PEELING AND MY DEALERSHIP SAID IT WAS NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR AND THEY WOULD BE HAPPY TO FIX IT AT A RIDICULOUS COST! AFTER SPEAKING TO SEVERAL PEOPLE WHO DO AUTO BODY/PAINTING SAID THAT THIS CAR SHOULD NOT AT ALL STARTED PEELING AT IT'S AGE..... BUT SINCE THERE IS NO RECALL OR INVESTIGATIONS INTO THIS, I GUESS I'LL JUST KEEP ON PEELING.... THE ISSUES WITH THIS CAR IS JUST RELENTLESS... BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never owned a car that I bough brand new, and with in 5 yrs the clear coat on the car starts peeling. It is peeling on all the doors, the hood, the Bluetooth fin. I find this to be UNACCEPTABLE FOR A CAR THAT I PAID $26000 FOR! Hyundai cars are a joke!

My clear coat started peeling. I saw all the complaints on line for the 2011 Hyundai Sonata. I'm driving over 50 years and in all my life I've never heard of this happening. People at Hyundai America headquarters are robots that only repeat that the paint warranty has expired .. It is obviously a defect and according to them, all you other bloggers never contacted them. I think they are lying. Nancy, is the case manager at Hyundai USA . I expected them to say sorry ma'am you are s.o.l. And that's exactly what they did. Please people if you've had this problem. Call the 800 633-5151 number and make a complaint and get a case number. Don't let them get away with it. If enough people complain there could be a recall.
