The contact owns a 2013 Hyundai Sonata. While driving approximately 60 mph with the cruise control engaged, the cruise control failed to disengage when the contact pressed the cancel button. The contact depressed the brake pedal, which disengaged the cruise control. The failure recurred on several occasions while driving at various speeds. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but the failure was unable to be determined. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure.
