I had started having problems with my vehicle failing to start four days after a certified Hyundai dealership changed my oil. I brought my vehicle in on four separate occasions (twice towed in by Roadside assistance and twice driven in) where the dealership states they were "unable to duplicate" the problem and released the vehicle back to me. On July 30, 2016, while attempting to take my youngest to his birthday party, my car failed to start yet again. I was unable to get it to start the entire weekend and had Roadside assistance tow it to Hyundai. They finally determined it needed a new starter!! My car is only 2 years old, 33k miles, and I am the original owner. This is ridiculous!

Took my car to Glendale Hyundai asked to check out the problem, said everything was fine. Car won't start, fiddle around, went and tried other key fob, the car started. Went and bought new batteries for key fobs. Car sat for 12 hrs, would not start.

Called Hyundai 24 hr road service, they used a portable jump, it would not start. He said to reset the car, lock car, unlock car. He sat in put his foot on the brake pushed the button, it did not start. Then he shifted to drive then back to park, it started.

Next morning got up going to the store, got into the car it started. Was gone 1 hr. Parked car. Went out 6 hrs later, sat in car foot on the brake, it did not start. Should have called for 24 hr Hyundai service to document it, but used my battery charger. Charged 3 minutes, got in nothing. Tried what Hyundai 24 hr road service did, reset, locking the car, then unlocking, sat in the seat foot on the brake, pushed the start button, nothing just a click. The light on the radio goes black, then on. I moved the shifter too drive then back to park, started right up, I did video this whole thing to show the dealer the next morning 6/22/15.

At the dealer they could care less about the video, just said we'll look at it, On Saturday when Hyundai first came out and jumped me, I took the car to Pep Boys to check the battery out. It did say it's checks ok- Replace Soon, Battery is good but results show that the battery is approaching the end of it's useful life and may fail to start the vehicle. Well it did start the following morning, but failed 6 hrs. later.

I contacted corporate they gave me a case number said, some lady named Tiger will call me 3 to 5 days, that has passed, as Hyundai don't care about the costumers. Parked the car last night 6/27/15 at 9pm, will not try to start till 3am Monday 6/29/15 if it doesn't start it will be flatbed to the dealer. They thought that was a good idea too. It's not the dealer it's Hyundai Corp that will not replace the battery that holds only 10 volts. They love the PR is the only thing I can think of, NEVER AGAIN BUY HYUNDAI. THEY DO NOT STAND BY THEIR CARS.
