My car does not have any warning sign or sound when an adult passenger does not have the seat belt on. I bought the car as new Jan last year and I do not recall that this ever worked. I double checked the existence of the problem driving slowly within the cul-de-sac. I have an appointment with the dealership tomorrow to check the issue. It is possible that many other cars like mine have this problem and this might be a case for a recall.
