1/6/09 while driving the tuscon began to feel hesitant with slow acceleration and stalled while I was turning across traffic and malfunction light came on. Tow was required to the dealer where the tps sensor assembly was replaced. Mileage was 50209. I purchased my tuscon new in 9/2005 and since 12/05 I had the car in the dealer for malfunction light six times. On 4/26/2009 while traveling on the NJ turnpike the tuscan began to operate in the same manner as in 1/09, and thankfully, I was able to pull over to the shoulder before the tuscon stalled and caused a major accident. I was towed to a hotel, and the next day towed again to a NJ dealer where the sensor assy-air flow and sensor assy oxygen LH were replaced. Mileage 53401. I drove 150 miles to home, and the malfunction light came on again. I took the car to my regular dealer said the code was found for cylinder # 5 misfire, E ngire not misfiring at this time. I contacted the Hyundai consumer assistance center and reported all of the above to them (three calls were made) I was told I would hear back from them last night, but have not. I travel on high speed/traffic roadways often and now I am concerned for the safety of my passengers, drivers/passengers in other cars and my own. I am I to know if the car is going to stall again, and if I am aware of a change in it's operation how I can feel safe not knowing if I will be able to pull to the shoulder before this happens.
