I own a 2011 Tuscon and steering wheel is peeling badly. Cant stop it. Supposed to be leather, but this is faux leather. That is B---sh--!!!!!!!!!!!!! Starting to notice cheap cheap construction. NOT happy with Hyduai.

There are hundreds of Hyundai forum posts and pictures showing steering wheels that are peeling away.

Hyundai blames us for wearing rings, using lotions on our hands. A crock....

Their offer was to split the cost of a new steering wheel - I pay $290 out of $570 !

Time to say good bye to Hyundai for their cheap materials and lousy service.............

Update from Feb 20, 2016: Hyundai still holding to $290 ro replace a well known fault of the entire product line. Their steering wheels are advertised as "leather" when they're really "pleather" or plastic coated leather. The steering wheels are peeling away and the dealer quotes $ 290 to replace - No factory incentive offered.

Time to trade up to an Acura.
