problem #1

Tucson LS 4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 110,000 miles

The first time the car was taken in, I waited 3 hrs before I could get an answer. Once I asked them what was the problem, I was told we don't know. We think it is a leak, unsure where it's coming from. I told them I can not wait at the dealership all day long, I have a class. Ms. Fisher we will insert some dye, you drive it for a few days, call us when it stops cooling and bring it in.

I brought car back after approximately 7 days. An uber was provided to take me home. I received a call on July 1, there is a hole in the condenser. I said how? These things happen. Notice how much time has been wasted. I received a call, it is the condenser. Ms. Fisher, do you have an extended warranty?

More money on the customers part. Maintenance work was done on car back in Jan./Feb. 4-500.00. I ended up paying 406.44 out of pocket, because I had a warranty. I called Service Rep. Monday. Ms., bring the car in Tuesday. I decided to wait. Service Rep. Said he drove the car, it was cooling fine.

I said the car is not cooling. It is too hot in Houston to drive without AC. Vehicle was pulled up 30 min. later. Bring it back if you have anymore problems. This is totally unacceptable, the car is 8 years old. I've kept up all my service records. The service department needs revamping, and should be monitored for customer service. I observed 4 other vehicles - same make model/same problem.
