The steering has always been a problem on this car. On motorway driving you are constantly having to adjust the steering to keep within lane. You could call it stiff or it is best called sticky. I consider it to be dangerous particularly on motorway driving. I drive from Dumfries to Aberdeen a round trip of 500 miles. I would say it is very strenuous because of the amount of concentration required to keep this car on the straight and narrow! I have on three occasions had a very close call and all down to the steering fault. A less experienced driver would not have been so lucky! As I have said to my local dealer if this problem is not solved I will be handing back the car and the keys, I value my life more than a car!

the steering is an absolute nightmare on the motorway, you are forever having to adjust the steering. I consider it to be dangerous and could cause an accident. I would describe the steering as sticky! I have taken the complaint to my local dealer Border Cars and had it tested. The mechanic said it was OK but when I went out on a test drive with the Service Manager Scott MacFarlane he agreed with me that there was a definite fault. I have had to phone lots of times to get anything done. It is now going to the dealership in Carlisle for an independent test..Hopefully it won't be a whitewash!
