Tucson Sport 1.6L Turbo Charged

  • Automatic transmission
  • 64,552 miles

Dealership reported the smart box/fuse box under the hood failed. Couldn't shift into gear, TPMS (Tire Pressure System) failed, and I couldn't open the drivers side window, use windshield or tailgate wipers, even though the wiper fluid would squirt. The turn signals weren't indicating in the car, but were working on the outside front. The headlights would turn on, but not high beams or fog lamps. When I tried to start the car it went completely black and wouldn't turn on. Got out, opened hood, closed all back up, got into car and it fired up but couldn't shift it into gear. Had AAA come and get me into gear to drive to the dealership. Couldn't lock unlock the doors with the fob, or electronic door buttons. Dealer has submitted claim to Hyundai to see if it's covered under the extended warranty. Will keep you apprised of the results of that conversation.
