While driving 70 mph on the highway, I suddenly heard a loud explosion that made me duck for cover. In that instant, glass was raining all over me and I was still driving 70, unable to stop due to heavy traffic on both lanes on either side of me. I had no idea what had caused this and what had even happened!

I was completely shaken up and eventually turned around to go back home. I googled this and found many other accounts of this same problem happening with Hyundai sunroofs, specifically panoramic ones.
