I took out a 3 year lease on my 2012 Veloster. Faithfully have done oil changes and tire rotations, first year everything showed up as green on Hyundai service log, I recently brought my car in for my routine oil change and tire rotation in October 2014, I was told my tires are all worn, this time the red boxes are checked off and this is at only 20,000 miles. I was advised by Hyundai service tech that this is, Quote, normal and I was lucky they did not wear out at 14,000, told him this is unacceptable.

Never bought a new car and ever had tires wear out any where close to this mark. {most tires start wearing out at 40,000 to 50,000 mark} IF I new that Hyundai put cheap soft tires on their new cars ( and not to mention they give you no spare), tech said this is due to weight to keep gas mileage down, let's not even go there, the gas mileage complaint is coming, I would not have leased or put a loan on this car. The only good thing I can say is this car is nice looking, but all the parts in the car are cheap and wearing out as well.

Was going to buy it at end of lease, No Way now, will never buy another Hyundai ever, and as far as that $400.00 return fee I will owe, maybe they ask for it cause they know they have to replace the tires and every cheap part at the end of the lease.
